About

The “BARISTA - Validation and transparency of Barista training Skills Project“ (No. 2023-1-FR01-KA220-VET-000159634) addresses the growing demand for professional barista training and the untapped potential of the coffee industry as a driver for tourism and economic growth. Recognizing the lack of formal training opportunities, certification mechanisms, and quality criteria in the Balkan region, the project introduces an innovative approach to barista education.

By fostering collaboration among tourism professionals, educators, and stakeholders from seven European countries—France, Turkey, North Macedonia, Greece, Italy, and Spain—the project aims to create a comprehensive training program enriched with modern digital tools and resources. This initiative supports barista professionals, educators, and learners with tailored vocational education, emphasizing practical skills and knowledge required to excel in the coffee and hospitality industries.

By connecting education to employment opportunities, the Barista Project seeks to strengthen the tourism workforce, create new job opportunities, and establish a competitive and skilled labor market. It further promotes sustainable growth, knowledge sharing, and innovation across Europe, showcasing coffee as a high-potential tourism product while revitalizing local economies.

Join us in shaping the future of barista education and the tourism industry. Together, we can create a vibrant community of skilled professionals and elevate the coffee culture to new heights.
