Food safety – ensuring access to food that is safe to eat – is essential in advancing health, livelihoods, trade, economic growth and overall prosperity. To support Members in providing safe food for all, FAO has developed four strategic outcomes with corresponding strategic actions, in line with FAO’s Strategic Framework 2022-31 and described in the Food Safety Strategic Priorities.
